If you're struggling with your adventures in Chult and Omu, this is a great place for you to find all of the resources you will need to navigate the dangers you'll face.
Soshenstar River Adventures:
The first thing you'll want to know when traversing the river and it's surrounding land is, "where can I find the materials needed to craft lures?" The map below shows you where you need to go to find the specific enemy you are looking for.
Next, let's take a look at where to use your freshly crafted lures! The locations below indicate where to find the Hunt Targets.
And finally, the map below shows you where to dig up some of the best loot that the Soshenstar River has to offer.
The Lost City of Omu
Once you've laid waste to the denizens of the Soshenstar River you will find yourself deeper in the jungle and approaching the fabled, "Lost City of Omu". The territory can be broken up into two distinct pieces: Above Ground and the Undercity. The first diagram pictured shows where to find the foes, above ground, that will yield the materials needed to craft your lures for this fearsome zone.

After familiarizing yourself with the lay of the land above ground, make your way below the surface to combat even more danger and unearth forgotten treasures. The maps below will help you to navigate the darkness and find what you desire. The first map indicates where you can find the same materials you searched for on the surface, just below ground. Many adventurers have found that they have a much easier time procuring materials below ground as there seems to be a decided lack of competition below ground as opposed to the hordes of adventurers above the Undercity. Note that not ALL materials can be found below ground.
This second map indicates where you can use your hard earned lures in the Undercity to draw out fearsome foes with which to do battle.
Now that you have mastered the lay of the land, both above ground and below, you are ready to embark on the never-ending quest for loot! This map indicates exactly where to take shovel to dirt in order to unearth Chultan Treasures.
This in-depth graph shows you exactly what you will need to create the desired lure and hunt for the elusive equipment that certain foes guard. The basis for EVERY hunt begins with the Spine from a Razor Rex, so stay sharp when patrolling above ground and take them down whenever you see one stomping through the jungle!
In parting, be sure and try and include your Guildmates in your Soshenstar and Omu activities. These are dangerous zones that are survived much easier by travelling in numbers. In addition, the items found in the Jungles of Chult can benefit everyone from the squishiest warlock to the stoutest paladin. You never know who's life may be changed by an item found at a hunt or inside a chest. Teamwork makes the dream work.
